Body Language Is A Powerful Means Of Expression

By Matt Fuller

Body language has the power to speak volumes even though a single word has not been spoken. It is often easier and more significant to be expressive in body language.

From the day we are born body language plays a significant factor in communicating our most basic requirements. A one month old baby instinctively knows that the way to its Mothers heart is through her eyes. The baby also knows that when it is hungry, crying is used as communicating this message.

While we can control our body language to a fair degree, one thing we can't control is our pupils - yes, one of the most subtle signs that someone is attracted to you is in the eyes. Nancy Fagin writes on the BBW Magazine website: "One of the obvious signs of physiological attraction is enlarged pupils. There are two main factors that cause our pupils to dilate, attraction and dim light. To confirm whether you think someone's eyes are dilating, try and do some subtle comparisons with others in the same room."

Body language has stood the test of time through many thousands of years, and its concept seemingly seems unchanged throughout the many generations before us. Body language is shielded from any technological advancement yet its significance can be greater than any current means of communication.

There are plenty of other clues that show whether someone is interested in you or not. And if you're looking for clues, cast your eyes down to the ground and see what his or her feet are doing - if their feet are pointing in your direction, then you could be on a winner.

Regardless of the body part, every part of our body will subconsciously send out a signal that will often determine whether we are attracted to someone or not. If something points at another person, whether it be our legs or feet, there is a certain level of interest being assessed.

Knowing when someone is vying for your affections through body language is an amazing way to build anticipation. Sending out signs of distinct body language lets our fantasies come in to play before a single work is even spoken. Our eyes, feet and our whole bodies have the power to tell someone how we are feeling simply by the way the direction of our body face.

We can use body language to further develop many areas of our lives. Our work lives can also benefit from being able to master the art of body language. Sales consultancy firms train their clients to read body language in order to help close sales.

Regardless of how someone uses body language to send you a message, it is really just a form of flirting to gain someone's attention and to send out the signs of attraction or interest. Those who can master the art of body language truly has the world at their feet. - 32510
